What can I say other than we LOVE Longleaf Horse Trail. Probably because it is not too far from home. We have many memories there that we will cherish forever. We have been so many times our horses know the trails by heart. We enjoy the down time and primitive camping. Of course we have been blessed and are fortunate enough to have a horse trailer with all the convienences of home. It is a nice place to get away.Â
The trail head offers restrooms, picnic tables, hitching posts and a pond to fish in. Longleaf Horse Trail consists of 3 trails totalling 26+ miles. We are fortunate to have such a nice National Forest in our backyards. If you are ever in South Mississippi, be sure to visit the Longleaf Horse Trail.
