Winchester

This handsome gelding was foaled in 2000. Winchester came to us from Lazy J Ranch in Macon, MS where he was known as Big John.   He is a looker for sure, pictures do not do him justice.  People say he is bomb proof.  I rarely use those words but he definitely is a laid back horse with a good head. 

One of my favorite memories of Winchester was a few summers ago.  The kids were here playing around the barn, it was steaming hot.  They climbed on him, bareback,  and rode him through the water sprinklers… I can’t tell you how many times.  The fun they had that day was pure joy for me to see. 

Winchester has been used to hunt off of, he loves the woods and the water.  Just point him in a direction and hang on because he is going and I believe he would cross any body of water put in front of him.  And Cattle…well look out, he is coming! Winchester has such a level head, we are so proud he is apart of our family.

I have seen from  experience; Winchester is a great mount for anyone at any age.  He loves to please.   Thanks for visiting Diamond P Farms and our crowd’s  favorite…Winchester.
