Meet Cherokee…my heart! Cherokee was foaled February 1999. He started his first years of life in Meadville, MS at a farm where he was known as “Rocket”. On July 14, 2007 we purchased him from a young lady at F and M Stables in Summit, MS. It was one of the happiest days for me. I was so thrilled and will always treasure that day and my precious find. I am fortunate to still communicate with the young lady that owned Cherokee. She loved him so much and cried the day she sold him. For you horse owners, you can imagine the emotions. Each time I speak with her she always asks about him first. God’s creations can be such great blessings if we appreciate them.
Cherokee is one of a kind. My husband, Billy, has only ridden Cherokee a few times. He is very spirited and you can tell he favors females. He is such a joy. He is so much fun to ride. I laugh when he is full force. I know now why the original owner called him Rocket. When I am riding Cherokee, I have no fear. I know he trusts me, I trust him and I know he will take care of me in any situation…and that my friend, is PRICELESS!
Stay tuned for more adventures  of this precious horse called Cherokee.
